VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, February 26, 2007 -- Brian Bourdon has joined Bay Capital Advisors as Vice President, Washington, D.C. Region. Brian has been a leader in financial services for more than 20 years. His career began in Washington, D.C., where he now leads Bay Capital Advisors' regional office. Brian's financial expertise as a Portfolio Manager for The Malone Financial Group at Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc., strongly contributed to that company's success. As a private client advisor for SunTrust Bank in the Wealth Management Group, he managed portfolios of at least $5 million in assets.

Brian is well known for his experience and leadership in investment strategies, economics, market analysis, and estate planning.

He attended Grand Valley State University in Michigan prior to his move to D.C. From 2002 - 2006, Brian was a familiar and trusted voice during the evening D.C. commute as a radio host on the popular program Monday Money Talk. He also frequently appeared as host and guest on The Wise Investor radio program. Both shows consistently generated a steady stream of call-in questions and new business.

An outstanding public speaker, Brian led a series of seminars for high net worth individuals and families titled "Fixed Income Investing" and "The Importance Insurance Plays In Portfolio Management."

Climbing is one of his favorite leisure activities, and along with Jim Flinchum, the two made an assault on the summit of Washington state's Mount Rainier in June 2004. But, as with the financial markets, they have yet to see the top.
