VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, March 1, 2007 -- The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has selected Jim Flinchum of Bay Capital Advisors as a judge for the 2007 Financial Frontier Award.

The competition recognizes the most innovative ideas in financial services, and awards more than $100,000 in cash prizes. The winner will be announced in September at the FPA Annual Convention in Seattle.

This is the most prestigious and contested award for original thinking in the field of financial services.
