Governor Elect Bob McDonald and Jim Flinchum

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, December 15, 2009 – Governor Elect Bob McDonald attended the Annual Meeting of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and congratulated Jim Flinchum for his good work as Chairman of the Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Flinchum has been heavily involved in the Chamber for the past six years, previously serving as the Virginia Beach Chamber's Treasurer, as well as Vice Chairman of Legislative Affairs before becoming Chairman.

According to Flinchum, “The Chamber of Commerce has enjoyed a long history of advocating for the small business community, which is the bedrock of America’s economy.
